When I was a kid I had a huge crush on Ricky Schroder. I loved Silver Spoons. Now I am not going to lie, even now when I see him my heart goes (just ever so slightly) pitter pat. So when I found out some interesting information recently it was a little bitter sweet. I came across this website:
It is a really interesting site. Under famous actors that are Mormon is my beloved Ricky Schroder! I checked on Wikipedia (we all know how accurate that site is ) and it too says he is a convert. Now I knew he had married a member but I had no idea he had converted. When I found this out, I was really and truly frustrated! That is so unfair! One of my big star crushes (besides Donny Osmond~ Who, unfortunately is too old for me) could have taken me to the temple! Had I known he was so willing to convert my life could have been totally different! It just goes to show you that you should never give up on your dreams!
PS. Please don't hate....I love my husband and I would never change my life with him. He is the real man of my dreams.
PPS. Plus don't feel sorry for him...just ask him about Alyssa Milano!

Mmmmm... Ricky Schroder. I loved Silver Spoons and I think my favorite Scrubs are the ones with him as the male nurse. Very cool that he found the gospel. As a celebrity crush, he's a good one!
