Meet me at the fair!

Saturday we went to the State Fair. Let me tell you it was some white trash fun! We had foot long corn dogs and funnel cakes! Brett even won me a teddy bear! It was very romantic. :) So toward the end of the night (right after seeing the worlds largest alligator) we were taking a break. Right in front of our bench was a cowboy silhouette. The kids thought it was pretty awesome (yay, free entertainment) and Ellie decided to imitate the cowboy. Of course the other two had to follow suit. Sadly I had forgotten to bring my camera; but luckily I had my cell phone. Sorry the pictures are a little dark.

We sure did have us some fun.
We can't wait till next year!

Awesome. I'm with the kids on this one, those silhouette's are facinating. I know I stare WAY too long at them. Fun family activity! So, what did Brett have to do to win you the teddy bear?

Ooo, do you remember those silhouette's in Indiana? They always kind of creeped me out. Sounds like ya'll had a heck of a good ol' time.

Brenda!

He played that game where you have to shoot water in a hole and make your mark go up the line the fastest. He was, by far, the fastest! I don't think it matters that his competition was a small group of little girls. :)

I just found this...

"If you ever start feeling like you have the goofiest, craziest, most dysfunctional family in the world, all you have to do is go to a state fair. Because five minutes at the fair, you'll be going, 'you know, we're alright. We are dang near royalty.' "
