Last Monday the kids didn't have school and Brett took the day off; so we headed off to the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point. We all had a fun time as a family. We had also planned on going to a pumpkin patch but we have yet to find a good one. If anyone knows of a great pumpkin patch in Utah please let us know! Time is running out and we need pumpkins! The Greeley area had several really great and inexpensive places. Hopefully we can find one here. I have to share one quick story concerning pumpkins. Apparently we aren't the only family in this area having trouble finding a pumpkin patch. Thursday while at Wal-Mart I was in the produce section. I saw a camera flash and looked up to see who was taking pictures. I see a large family (probably 7 to 10 people) all around the boxes of pumpkins in produce section. There were Grandparents, parents and children. As they picked out a pumpkin one of the family members would snap a picture! I watched the Grandpa (I am only assuming because he had gray hair) pull out a big 'ol pumpkin, cheesing it up for the camera. One of the family members was walking around with a hand held video camera documenting the whole thing! It was hilarious! So, If I can't find a great pumpkin patch, I will dress up my kids in fall harvest colors and head down to the local Wal-Mart! Hee Hee! I hope you enjoy the pictures below. As my step sister would say "love yunz!"

I miss the scarecrow festival. I know there is a fun pumpkin patch in Provo at a garden center, but I can't remember the name of it. It's in South Provo. I'll try to remember and let you know.

Looks like you all had so much fun! We are so glad you are a forever family! We love you all!
