So I watched Rudolph with the kids the other day. It had been a long time since I had watched it. I never noticed before but Santa is a real jerk in this show! It totally irritated me that Santa was not ok with Rudolph's red nose at first. He made snarky comments and did nothing to stick up for him. The Santa I know and love, he would have stood up for Rudolph. He would have taught all the other reindeer what it means to be loving and tolerant of others. No reindeer games??? I think not. My Santa would have put Rudolph in charge of all fun and games. So in the show he is a total poop about it; then all of the sudden Santa is in a tough spot. Now Rudolph is just fine and dandy; marvelous even. This is so not ok with me! My Santa loves people (red noses and all) right from the begining; not only when it is convenient. It just really saddened my heart. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Merry Christmas! :)

Over the past week we have been watching The Santa Clause series, 1-3. I like that Santa! He is very jolly and loving, the way Santa should be. It's because he's an Allen! :-)
I totally agree. I have thought that before about that movie too. How ridiculous! You know what Santa is really nice? The one on Frosty The Snowman and especially the Santa on Santa Claus is Coming to Town. You should try those. And if you have to keep watching Rudolph because it is so awesome despite nasty Santa, just pay attention to how hard poor Mrs. Claus is working to make him stop being a poop.
