Buck Naked and Frustrated!

This is kind of one of those stories where you needed to be there to truly understand the humor of it all. Never the less, I will do my best to share.

Ellie can be a drama queen. I know, big shocker. It was Ellie's turn to take a shower Saturday night. She had been in there for awhile when she came running out. "Dad I got frustrated; and I did this!" "Frustrated? What did you do?" he said. " The water was taking too long to get warm; so I was frustrated and I grabbed my teeth and this happened!" she immediately burst into tears. I told her to come to me and all of the sudden I noticed she had a mouth full of blood. She had "lost" her first tooth!! Now I am not sure if it was really ready, but either way it came out. Ellie has been wanting to loose a tooth forever now. (Brett had found her hitting her teeth on her bed trying to make them loose one morning) I am not sure what she did in that bathroom, but I have a feeling she won't do it again. I think in the end it really scared her. But Brett and I calmed her down and got her laughing. (you can see this in the photo's) After she showered and got into her pj's she wanted to write a letter to the tooth fairy. It was too funny.

Granted there are several spelling and grammar errors (she is 6 after all) but the best is the last line when she wrote a "d" instead of a "b" and then her "s" looked like a "y". So the last sentence looks like it says "there was blood in the tud and the yink!" For some reason this just killed me. I laughed so hard I might have peed a little! So the whole family has been quoting that all week. I keep telling her that this will be a great story to tell her boyfriends when she gets older.

She lost her first tooth while buck naked and frustrated!

What a funny story! That is her first lost tooth? Maddie has already lost 6 ( I think). Pretty soon she'll have two big front teeth like Madeleine. What a cute little girl.

Oh my goodness -- SO funny! Her note was the best. I love how she totally compliments the tooth fairy and then describes in detail losing the tooth. So great. You are going to keep that note forever, right?

I remember pushing and twisting till the tooth just hung from a piece of skin. Then it scared me because I thought that piece of skin would rip clear up to my lip so it would just hang there till it dropped off. Kids are great you never know what's next. Ellie you are awsome!! Love Grandpa
