Yesterday there was no school! I told the kids that on Monday we both had bathrooms to clean and then after that we would do some goofing off. When I rolled out of bed at 8:30 (I love days off of school) they had already cleaned their bathroom and gotten dressed. Sadly I still had to clean my bathroom. After I did that and showered we packed a picnic lunch and picked up daddy from work. We had a picnic in the car while watching a movie. Then we dropped Dad back off at work and we headed to D.I.! We found several treasures included some great books. (I love that my kids ask for books and thinks it is a treat!)
I found a fun new basket and a pretty pie plate. After that we headed to G-ma and G-pa Allen's house for delicious pizza and delightful company! It was a fun day! We hope you all had a wonderful Presidents Day as well!
