So long story short....I was taking dinner with my mom-in-law to a mutual friend. I was in charge of dessert. Here is what I made!
Mmmm! Crusty burnt black goodness!
So as you can see it did not turn out so well. Lesson learned: don't brown marshmallows under the broiler and then walk away; even for like a second. I turned around and the marshmallows were on FIRE! My whole lovely dessert up in FLAMES! When the baking soda didn't get rid of all the flames I had to grab the sink sprayer and douse it in WATER! Lovely, yummy, dee-lish dessert DEAD! So the mutual friend got store bought COOKIES!

Hey what's this nasty music! Electric Six? Cough, Gag!!!!
Oh no!!! That's so sad! And funny. But sad! I made some brownies one time when I had my heart condition and my brain was being oxygen deprived. I must have a.- used baking soda instead of baking powder and b.- put it in like 3 different times because yikes. It was like it came alive and then decided it would rather be in the bottom of the oven. When I discovered it, the part that was still in the pan was completely runny so I took it out and tried to use it to make brownie pancakes. That didn't work very well either (obviously). We've laughed about it ever since and anytime something like this happens it is referred to as a "brownie pancake" moment. :)
Dad, If you listen to the words it goes along with my story! It is all about setting the tone!
Not quite the Brady's (I almost used your name and then remembered) I am glad I am not alone in this! :)
